Latest news from The Black Wall Street Chamber of Commerce

Dear members and subscribers,

I’m excited to share what the Black Wall Street Chamber of Commerce (BWSCC) is all about. We’re here, working hard for Black-owned businesses like yours. Our mission since we started five years ago is simple but powerful: we’re here to help our businesses grow, learn, and get the support they need.

Our founders, the late Sherry Gamble-Smith and District 1 Tulsa City-Councilor Vanessa Hall Harper, had a clear vision. They wanted to create more chances for Black businesses to succeed and build wealth that lasts for generations. We’re carrying on their work, focusing on making sure our community has fair opportunities and a strong voice in the business world.

Joining BWSCC means you’re not just signing up for a membership – you’re becoming part of a community that’s all about lifting each other up. We’ve got practical workshops, networking events to connect you with other business owners, resources to help your business grow, and we even stand up for our community on important legislative issues. We know that when we come together, we can face any challenge and celebrate every win.

We’re inviting you to be part of this journey. With your involvement, we can make a real difference for Black businesses in Tulsa and build a community where everyone has the chance to thrive.

For more details about joining, our programs, and what’s coming up, check out our website [www.bwschamber.com] or get in touch with our team at [info@bwschamber.com].

Thanks for considering joining the BWSCC. We’re excited to work together and make great things happen.

Best,

Kuma Roberts, IOM
